3D modelling
Once a concept or elements of various concepts have been selected, we begin the detailed development process which involves engineering ideas into commercially viable and economical solutions. We look at ergonomics and aesthetics in detail and use various CAD tools to design, inspect and validate designs.
Using the latest CAD tools, we can produce industry standard CAD data (IGES, STEP, STL, PRO-E, PARASOLID, DXF, DWG & lots of other native formats) for component and tooling manufacture and for the production of quality control drawings and technical illustrations. Our CAD software allows us to check the functionality of mechanisms, assess failure points, simulate physical properties and create ‘virtual’ products before any tooling commitment.
2D CAD services
2D CAD data is rarely used for the production of parts these days. We usually only use 2D data for the manufacture of sheet metal components. 2D drawings are usually produced to support 3D CAD data with tolerance information and other detail that cannot be specified in the 3D file. Our CAD tools allow us to generate 2D drawings quickly and easily from 3D data. If your application requires the production of 2D drawings, we have experience in producing drawings to British Standards.

We've got a NURB...
Our CAD systems are NURBS based modellers which means a high degree of accuracy that is industry standard.
Vector graphics
As well as manipluating 3D and 2D CAD data, we also deal with vector graphics, particularly decals and logos. We work to industry standards (AI, PDF and PSD) and are able to support products with any graphics work.
