Machined component design
Machined components are generally used where precision is critical and where other production processes can’t produce the same accuracy and geometry. From small turned components less than 2mm in diameter to large tool beds, we can design and supply components for CNC machining. We have numerous suppliers equipped with state of the art CNC machines that can work in a variety of materials including nylon, POM/acetal, aluminium, brass, steel and stainless steel.
Typical machined items that we have designed in the past usually complement other parts manufactured using other processes. Examples are small turned contact pins, precision casings for keyboards to MIL-SPEC and components for prototyping.
Sheet metal fabrications
From very thin sheet material down to 0.2mm to heavy duty materials thicker than 6mm, we have experience in the design and integration of sheet metal items and fabrications. Most of our previous work has involved the use of aluminium, brass, steel and stainless steel sheet.
We have good links to sheet metal suppliers here in the UK for fast prototype manufacture and also competitive sheet metal suppliers around Europe for larger volumes. We are also happy to work with your supplier recommendations.

We have experience of designing all type of plastic and aluminium extrusions for a range of applications.
Electronics
The design of electronic circuits is common place during product development, in particular with products we tend to design. So many products rely heavily on electronic control systems. We have excellent in-house experience of electronic circuits and circuit integration to ensure your product will work correctly and interact with its surroundings.
Mechanics
Our team has experience in the design of a variety of mechanical assemblies used in common product applications including office seat mechanisms, display mounts, exhibition frames, gear systems and motor drives, locks, actuators and pneumatic systems.
Injection mouldings
We are experts in the design of injection mouldings for high volumes.
