Innovation in general is about making and doing things differently in a way that provides a better use or service. Innovation in product design is about improving a products’ use through better functionality or user interaction. It’s about creating new ideas – ideas perhaps that wouldn’t have been explored before. It’s about thinking outside the box and approaching problems differently. It's also about improving how the product interacts with it's environment and producing products that minimise environmental damage.

Unfamiliar Technology?
The problem with doing the same thing all the time is that although you become very good at it, you tend not to see other ways of doing it! Design Innov8 can provide a fresh approach to a project and create new ideas that perhaps wouldn’t have been explored otherwise. Gaining new experience within an unfamiliar area of technology is what we like. It teaches us something new and it also allows us to utilise our skills and add even more innovation to a new area of technology.

Our environmental policy
We take the environmental impact of industrial design seriously and are keen to make a positive difference. During any project, we take into consideration the manufacture of parts that contribute to environmental preservation, the impact on world resources, recycling during manufacture and the recycling of parts during product disposal.
