Nov 2010 :: Stepping back to step forward with digital media devices

As the digital media age is reaching more and more people around the world, Design Innov8 are developing solutions that merge the essential elements of living with current and future technology. Our main focus is the interface between hand held digital media devices, in particular touch-screen tablets and their users. We are looking into products that utilise these devices for daily living routines.

Aug 2010 :: Measuring the cost of energy usage

With a focus on energy consumption and increasing awareness on consumers for the control of energy usage, we have been approached by a major supplier of energy data analysis products to work on a new range of products for the consumer market. Onzo Ltd. based in London provides utility companies with customer intelligence solutions.

Jul 2010 :: Our designs are set for the World Molecular Imaging Congress

Our client, MR Solutions, are exhibiting our bench-top MRI design at the show in Kyoto, Japan, in September 2010 and we expect it to generate a lot of interest.

Jun 2010 :: Products for MRI animal handling

Design Innov8 are designing a bespoke small animal handling system for use in MRI laboratory research to complement our bench-top MRI unit design. By researching current products and implementing improvements for better usage, we are expecting our solution to provide users with a better animal handling experience, particularly on repeated testing.

Apr 2010 :: Design Innov8 appointed to design a bench-top MRI unit

Design Innov8 have been appointed to design a bench top MRI unit for laboratory and research applications. ‘MR Solutions’ based in Guildford selected us because of our varied experience in product development and electronics integration. This new field of technology for us will prove to be an exciting and challenging area of development. Working closely with MRI physicists and MRI software specialists, we expect our solution to be an industry leader.

Mar 2010 :: Welcome to our new website

Our new website is launched and we hope you find it interesting and informative. We decided to keep the site as simple as possible, creating a clean layout that’s browser friendly. We eliminated the drop down menus and reduced any script content to ensure pages load quickly and without any problems.

For all those who are familiar with our older site, we've attached a small picture of it below so we can say goodbye to the old and welcome in the new.

Our environmental policy

We take the environmental impact of industrial design seriously and are keen to make a positive difference. During any project, we take into consideration the manufacture of parts that contribute to environmental preservation, the impact on world resources, recycling during manufacture and the recycling of parts during product disposal.
