Design testing and computer aided structural analysis
How products behave in the real world can be difficult to gauge sometimes, especially if an idea hasn't been tried and tested before. Understanding which attributes of a product will be subjected to external influences and how these will affect the product is critical in evaluating whether the product will perform its function correctly. Various CAD tools allow us to simulate and test situations that the product would be put in. These could include temperature variations, repeated loading, physical fatigue and electromagnetic radiation exposure.
We can also perform failure evaluation checks which will determine exactly what could happen in the event of part of a product failing. This is sometimes essential to maintain the safety of a product during its life.

Eliminating stress...
Sometimes it is essential to understand exactly how a product will perform under physical load and whether or not it can survive its application. Stress analysis can evaluate the performance of an item before it is actually manufactured and provides critical detail that can help refine or optimise a design. We can offer a stress analysis/FEA service as part of the product development process. Visual results provide an easy way to understand exactly what is happening within a material. Sometimes, we may even produce a sample of a part to physically test it under repeated loading. This is especially important for parts that are critical.
