A stunning addition to the Original Rosa Porzellan collection. Exquisitely made by H&C Czech Republic. A roseate porcelain enhanced with hand-painted roses and a 24 Kt gold scrolling design rimming the top, bottom & encasing the handle. The bottom is stamped with the Original Rosa Porzellan H&C Czech Republic mark which was used from 1991-2003.
Rosa Porzellan (pink porcelain) is manufactured by one of the oldest porcelain manufacture in Czech Republic, Chodov. Chodov is made with colored porcelain. The porcelain turns a unique pastel pink when the clay gets fired. It is then gilded with 24kt gold and cover with a clear glaze, opposed to using pink glaze on a white porcelain base.
Rosa Porzellan has been produced in Chodov in the Czech Republic since 1811.
Both in excellent condition.
